A drive through the Redwoods in Del Norte County, Crescent City, California, is one of the most stunning things you can do. It is like stepping back in time, to an era when Dinosaurs roamed. You find yourself waiting for a very large creature to appear around the next curve in the trail. One of the best times to drive through the Redwoods is early morning after a rain. The light coming through the trees is mystical and you may even see some very interesting species of mushrooms on the forest floor on even on the surface of some of the tall trees.
Born in Texas, raised in North Carolina, I began to love traveling at an early age. I have a passion for many forms of Art. Photography being one of those passions. I find traveling now that I am retired gives me abundant opportunities to photograph such a large variety of wildlife, nature, landscapes and more which inspires my collage photo art.
